Moisturize for The Perfect Glow
Ladies, it is so important to moisturize at least twice a day – not just on the day of an important event. Moisturizing is not only the greatest thing to do to your skin, but it also keeps your skin glowing with or without makeup. It is meant to help prevent your skin from becoming dry – I mean what other reason do we need to make sure it’s in our routine?
There are so many different types of moisturizers out there and it can take a while to find the perfect formula for your skin type. Make sure the formula doesn’t dry up your skin or cause you to break out, then always apply your moisturizer before putting anything else on your face. This will prevent your makeup from clogging up your pores. And always remember – a little drop of moisturizer goes a long way! At night, you can try a face mask or face cleanse for even brighter skin the morning.

Highlighters seem to be all the rage right now – and we can see why. They let everyone shine bright, and all of our favorite makeup brands are making highlighters at the moment. The best part is you don’t have to spend a lot to get a product that works great. There are so many different highlighters out there – from liquids to powders – it seems so difficult to choose just one. So why not try out a few to see which one works best for you. Powders are applied with a brush, while a liquid can be easily applied with a Beauty Blender or your finger. After highlighting, contour like a celebrity for the ultimate effect!

There is a method behind getting the perfect glow, and we’re about to let you in on exactly where to place those gorgeous highlighters for the maximum glow effect!
- Under the brow bone to create the illusion of large eyes.
- Apple of your cheeks, right above your blush to get the glowing skin look.
- Bridge of your nose, to create a slimmer, longer looking nose.
- Inner corner of your eyes, to look more awake. This is a lifesaver for those days when we’ve barely slept but have to get to work.
- Diagonally along your cheekbones to add definition. This is the trick that so many makeup artists use on your favorite celebrities!
- If you want an all over glow, just mix your favorite moisturizer with a liquid highlighter and then go right ahead with your makeup routine.
