NYC Chili Cook Off 2018

Looking to have a family fun day? Head over to Staten Island for the NYC Chili Cook Off and satisfy your taste buds with a variety of yummy chili samples. There will be live entertainment, judging of the chili to see which ones will make it to the world championship, cash prizes, and amusements.

The 7th annual Brisket King festival will be held in a new venue this year located in Williamsburg Brooklyn. What’s a more perfect location to crown the Brisket King than in Kings County! With 20+ chefs competing for the title, you will certainly give your BBQ taste buds a fix with a brisket variety and plenty of cider to wash it down. Rumor has it that 2017 winner Izzy’s Smokehouse will be back again to compete among other amazing chefs. Here is a first look at this year’s competition:

The Vegetarian Food Festival is returning for their 8th year in a row to bring you the best plant-based eats around. There’ll be two full days of delectable food samplings, insightful speakers, chef demonstrations, and other eco-friendly activities to enjoy. There will even be plenty of kids activities (kids 10 and under are free!) so don’t hesitate to bring the whole family!

Big Apple BBQ Block Party

Unless you’re in the small minority of people that doesn’t like a good barbecue, then you’re not going to want to miss the Big Apple BBQ Block Party! This free event will be rockin’ all weekend long with live music, plenty of drinks, and of course, the best-of-the-best barbecue from around the country. Not to mention, it’s all for a good cause! In fact, the Big Apple BBQ has donated over one million dollars to the Madison Square Park Conservancy since it started in 2002. With free admission, live music, best-in-class food, and a great charitable cause, there’s no reason to miss this one!
