Go Bold this Spring

Go bold this spring with Faviana.  Spring has sprung and it is time to put away those dark winter clothes and brighten up your wardrobe. Bold colors are all the rage for Spring 2011.  Bright prints and color blocking are two hot trends right now that play off the bold color palette.  There are many different ways to pull off this spring fashion, depending on how daring you are prepared to be when it comes to style.

If you’re ready to take this trend on full force, the key is to choose color combinations that complement one another.  If you have a more eclectic taste, take inspiration from the Gucci collection, which displayed vibrant color combinations of jade green, orange, and violet that definitely stood out on the runway.  If your taste isn’t as extreme, play off the Miu Miu collection by mixing primary colors such as red, blue, green, and yellow to liven up your day-to-day style.

If you’re not ready to jump in the color pool just yet, start off by adding bright accents to everyday outfits.  A great way to do this is by adding a statement necklace or ring in your favorite color, or wearing a colored pair of shoes. You’ll be surprised when you see how adding a simple splash of color will radically update your look.

From day to night, bold colors are always in style.  Next time you have a special event to go to, don’t you dare reach for that little black dress!  The red carpet was full of color this awards season.  Hollywood’s newest trendsetter, Hailee Steinfeld, was on point at the SAG awards in her orange and pink Prada gown.  The always beautiful Angelina Jolie sparkled in an emerald green gown at the Golden Globes.  Celebrities such as Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Hudson chose bold red dresses for the Oscars last month.  Faviana has just what you need to pull off this trend just like the stars at your upcoming special occasion.
