Anna Lynne McCord who plays Naomi on the show, spends her days shopping and having fun.  She threw an event in a blue halter dress that showed one of spring’s hottest trends, maxi dresses and in another episode wore wide-leg pants and funky prints.  This signaled the return of 1970s cool.    Pretty Little Liars character Spencer, played by Troian Bellisario is always one step ahead shows off her legs in dresses and pulls in so many trends from colorblocking to socks and boots.

Zooey Deschanel is new to prime time television, but not to fashion.  Her New Girl character is is cute, girlie, and slightly goofy, but her fashion stays ahead of the game.  She has been seen pairing together emerald green and cobalt for a colorblock look and the perfect feminine spring look.  She keeps it causal most of the time in ballet flats, the perfect shoe for girls.  This years break out villain Emily Van Camp on hit show Revenge is no stranger to the spotlight and her closet is stocked with the season’s hottest trends.  She regularly wears lace a huge trend for spring 2012 and has closet full of little black and red dresses, every style setters staples.

So whether you are addicted to the CW, ABC Family or other prime time networks, the plotlines on these shows are excellent but it’s the fashions that keep girls tuning in every week.  So when you cant decide what to wear to your next event, turn on the television and let the inspiration flow.

Peplums are also huge this season.  They are always pretty and the detailed waist is emerging as one of spring’s hottest most stylish statements.   Peplums accentuate your body in all of the right places.   A peplum blouse is perfectly paired with a tailored bottom, such as skinny jeans.  For a nighttime look layer a peplum cardigan over a basic tank and pair with a pencil skirt or skinny jeans.  Peplums are flattering and feminine perfect for any spring/summer event.

If you are more of a Classic clothing personality your style is tasteful and refined.  You tend to look at Jackie O, Angelina Jolie, Lauren Conrad, and Victoria Beckham for your fashion inspiration.  On a daily basis your wardrobe consists of neutral colors such as   black, gray, navy blue, beige, blush colors and clean straight lines in your clothing.   You prefer to show off your waist and not other body parts and wear clothing with a soft draping.   You keep it simple and classy and your favorite accessories are ballet flats, stud earrings, blazers, oversized sunglasses, and the perfect tote bag.   If you are feeling adventurous and want to branch out try adding some color to your wardrobe through your accessories.  Having an elegant and polished look is great, but make sure you don’t get caught in a rut and come off as too boring.  Try changing it up occasionally and add some twist and turns to your style.  Add a colorful scarf to your everyday outfit or some metal detailing on your ballet flats.
