Faviana Intern Chronicles: Meeting with the Misses

“Elegance is the only beauty that never fades.”

– Audrey Hepburn

Do you ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes at Faviana? Stay up to date with my weekly blog posts detailing my exciting experiences as a Faviana intern.

There are so many things I love about being a Faviana Intern; the dresses, the fashion, the people… But if there is one thing that I love the most is the faces I have had the opportunity to meet so far.

At the last Faviana photo shoot, I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Tanzania Universe, Flaviana Matata. She was beautiful, tall, and slender, just as she has appeared on television. She stopped by to say “Hi” and was so in love with the upcoming 2013 collection, that she even “tweeted” at us on Twitter! I sat down and spoke with her for a while and she said, “I love the dresses. Flaviana… Faviana, it has a nice ring to it. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of those dresses.”

I also met with Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes, the other day. She was trying on one of our dresses to wear to this Friday at the 30th Miss Teen USA pageant in the Bahamas. I decided to ask her a few questions about fashion and style while she admired her dress choices.

When asked what her favorite dress style was, she said, “mainly hi-lo dresses and floor length dresses.” I also asked her what her favorite accessory was and she gladly answered, “Shoes, shoes, shoes… and bags!” Check her out in style 6711.
