Fashion Tip of the Week: Recycling

Who ever said that looking glamorous has to be expensive? Today we’re going to give you tips and tricks on how you can stay glamorous and get the celebrity look you want without breaking the bank.

The best way to save on your fashion looks is to recycle and revamp. No, we don’t mean gathering up trash bags and old newspapers to make new clothes. You can recycle from your very own closet! Fashion trends are always recycling, your moms old maxi dress from her 70’s disco days are returning along with tons of other classic styles. So, you might want to take a look in that pile of clothes sitting in the attic before you give away some chic wardrobe staples.

Maybe you have an old formal dress that you thought you would never wear again. Try cutting it into a short cocktail dress for a look that you can wear to any party or event. Pair it with a nice pair of suede pumps and a clutch to match.

For that flowery 60s look, bring back that maxi dress or palazzo suit! Wear it with a waist belt and a small denim or faux leather vest. For that extra “peace and flowers” look, throw a sunflower in your hair or wrap a small scarf around your forehead. There you have it, a super glam, and recycled, look to add to your summer wardrobe!

Show us some of your recycled and do-it-yourself looks.
